Video Tour of Marquis Los Cabos Resort
As the media scare was keeping people away from the Baja Peninsula (even though there were no H1N1 flu cases there), I flew into town to enjoy crowd-less beaches and half-empty hotels. The beachfront casita suites at Marquis Los Cabos are usually booked up well in advance, so I felt lucky to hit things at the right time, enjoying an amazing view of the blue water and empty sands. Here is a video tour of the whole hotel, from the dramatic entrance, to poolside, to the view from the roof of a casita suite.

It’s unreal how empty that beach is. I guess people really are staying away. Looks wonderful.

Wow. Are people really taking this flu scare that seriously?

Yes, unfortunately, all over Mexico. I just got back from the Caribbean coast and it was really slow there too. Of course the bad economy isn’t helping either, but most people haven’t gotten the message that there are more swine flu cases in their own state than there are in Mexico now.
