As the media scare was keeping people away from the Baja Peninsula (even though there were no H1N1 flu cases there), I flew into town to enjoy crowd-less beaches and half-empty hotels. The beachfront casita suites at Marquis Los Cabos are usually booked up well in advance, so I felt lucky to hit things at the right time, enjoying an amazing view of the blue water and empty sands.
