I agree with Linda’s comment about the limited number of large int’l chain hotels on the list.

I feel that most of the chain hotels are cookie cutter, where the local resorts are unique and offer specialty amenities to its guests.

I would love to eventually stay at one of these luxurious resort. Thanks for sharing the list!

I think it’s interesting that only one of these is part of a big international chain of hotels. It looks like your readers are looking for something with a more authentic sense of place. That’s encouraging.
