Buenos Aires roof dexk CasaSur Palermo

Things keep looking up in Argentina and there’s a renewed vigor in the business sector as some of the previous government restrictions and tourism hurdles fade away. We’re happy to add another review from the local CasaSur group, the impressive CasaSur Palermo.

This is the second property we’ve featured, after the Bellini one that opened a while back. As the name would suggest, this boutique hotel is in the hip Palermo part of town, close to lots of restaurants, cafes, and galleries in Palermo Viego.

There are plenty of properties here though, so what makes this one special? Well that rooftop deck with a view pictured at the top is certainly a big draw. It’s sun-soaked by day by the swimming pool, then is a great party space at night.

CasaSur Palermo has already gained a reputation for attentive service and photogenic design.

From the moment you step into CasaSur Palermo Hotel you notice the first-class hospitality service as the staff checks every detail for a pleasant arrival. Young architect Gisselle Chalu’s chic lobby features earthy tones and a playful bookshelf behind a sleek marble reception area to welcome you in. The entrance lounge keeps its contemporary design while serving as an inviting space to relax and glance at the neighboring streets.

This is a 61-room boutique hotel, so you can expect attentive service that’s hard to deliver with a big chain hotel, but that’s enough rooms to ensure there will be more than two staffers on site when things are slow. Luxury travelers will find suite options for splashing out and some rooms have a balcony with city views.

There’s a well-regarded restaurant on site, an attractive lounge, and a full spa with head-to-toe treatments on the menu.

Buenos Aires is crammed full of “designer” boutique hotels and too-cool properties that look much better online than they do in person. CasaSur Collection has proved it’s the real deal, however, delighting its guests and delivering high design interiors that look good in person, not just in well-staged photographs.
